Joshua Chamberlain, the Man behind the Hero

White will delve into Chamberlain’s fascinating life in a Zoom presentation on May 9 th at
5:30 pm sponsored by Old Bristol Historical Society in collaboration with the Lincoln County
Historical Association. White will draw from his most recent book On Great Fields, The Life
and Unlikely Heroism of Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain to talk about the complex and
inspiring man behind the hero.
